the scripts used to define ourselves

Hi,
My first launch into the world of personal blogging-- first I am dyslexic so laugh all you like at the blunders I will no doubt make, but forgive my spelling transgressions--I just want an unfettered spelling experience here.

Naming our blogs
I have a friend who prefers her fantasy life and another whose life needs a primer--well named I thought. How to name my blog...

I am the only girl in a family of six siblings
I am the one who bleeds, who is too sensitive,
And my life was shaped by nursery rhythms-

"There was a girl who had a curl right in the middle of her forehead and when she was good she was very very good and when she was bad she was horrid..."
which was usually followed by
"Sugar and spice and everything nice that's what little girls are made of.."
And worst of all
"humpty dumpty sat on a wall, humpty dumpty had a great fall, and all the kings horses and all the kings men couldn't put humpty together again"

from this I play the part of a "nice girl" with a devilish strike who fears falling apart! I am fascinated with the poems, stories, family lore that shape who we are and how we behave..do share..

Shaped my career-BOOKS: little women (all of them) Doctor Dolittle (all of them) Secret Garden
Shaped my love life--MULTIMEDIA: looking for Mr. Goodbar, Story of O, The letters of John and Abigail Adams, & Internet relationship advice.
Shaped my out look on life-- MOVIES: Gone with the Wind, The Russians are Coming and Catch 22
Shaped my personal philosophy of life-- SONGS: We are but dust in the wind and I am just a poor wayfaring stranger
Shaped my spirit and dented my soul: RELATIONSHIPS & LABELS: Five brothers; If a wife is a widow-what is a girl who loses her dad? (Father died age 49 9/11/1969); "a little ray of sunshine" "Beaver McFever" "The Bev""The one and only""C...Logic" "The itinerant"

What stories/labels have shaped you, my new reader friends? Share if you will, if you like--

Welcome to the world of blogging! You bring a thoughtful voice and a kind heart. A glimpse of my script would be: writer, creative, wife, mom, friend, and parent-less daughter.

Hmm. Did I miss the grand announcement of your blogout? Found out about it through a text message.

Anyway, welcome. I agree with Kds' comment about your thoughtful voice and kind heart--another blogger to make me look pathetic. Oh well...

What stories have shaped my life? They were mostly Stories of Tired Emotional Whiners, Oops I Mean Women.

And here's to more of them in a new format!!!

Hey--I was the last person to get a VCR, the DVD was a bribe by cable company (which I only had because I lived in the mountains with zero reception) I was the last to buy a cell phone

that I am not last to blog is a miracle :-) I sent an e-mail which is the new snail mail (but as everything cycles I bet we we will all be riding ponies again!)

Thanks for checking out my blog!

You don't write like a dyslexic. Can you mix up a few letters to make it more entertaining for the rest of us?

well diesel,
I've heaard alot about you--I'll refrain from editing so you can see the results.

When waitressing I pored a brown hot liquid from a cot of poffee---

when writing a dissertation I severed children for 104 pages and they still gave me a PDH--

and most recelently I was laughed at for thanking my personal couch for training me for my first tri-athilon.

so there you have it raw dsylexix-unfettered spelling--yippie scribing fredom.
