sparrows congregate to feast on crumbs
scatter like dry leaves when master squirrel this way comes
To congregate again-
heavy crunch of mail carrier boots
cause them to take wing with protests in their throats
quiet chirps of winter weighted down by frigid air-
Remembering frenetic Spring calls of
Need a date need a date
Hear me here I am
sparrows congregate again to rise and sing on rays of golden light
In wintersong they call in cold dampened tones
hear me, here, I am
I sing --I sing because I can.

Nice job! Can't let a good poem go to waste, can we?
You do need to blog more often, you know.
Hey Little Curl...
I love the little sparrow. You and I have to blog LOTS MORE! Meg, I mean Peg is kicking our butts!
